Explore the Omeo Region to discover this
beautiful area. Visit the towns of Omeo, one of the most
lawless goldfield towns back in the gold rush days, and
the historic buildings. Benambra set on the Omeo High
Plains, with rolling hills and the ‘Brothers & Sisters’
mountainous backdrop. Swifts Creek with its rich history
in gold & Ensay set on the beautiful Tambo River &
Little River The region provides a fantastic retreat
from city life, with all of the quintessential
characteristics of the Australian bush; the dawn chorus,
forests of eucalypts, and of course a rich agricultural
