The recently expanded Omeo Hospital in conjunction with Omeo District Health offers a wide range of services. These include: hospital beds; 24hr 7 days a week accident and emergency service; renal dialysis unit; pallative care; district nursing; residential care; planned activity groups; physiotherapy; occupational therapy; youth workers; health promotion; social/work counseling; foot care; dietetics; speech pathology; diabetic education and dental services.

The Visitor Information Centre for the Omeo Region; Ensay, Swifts Creek, Omeo & Benambra can assist visitors with all enquires and advice on all the best places to visit. The Centre stocks a large range of maps, covering 4wd tracks & the High Country. Also brochures on comfortable accommodation, delicious meals, interesting shops & fascinating tours, history & heritage. The ‘friendly faces’ of local volunteers look forward to meeting you, and the opportunity to showcase the local produce on offer at the adjoining craft shop, Omeo Country Colors’.

Established in 1918, the center has been run by nurses ever since. It's an incorporated community based non-profit organization, which is run by a voluntary committee of management.
The Center offers the following services: Accident & Emergency, Community Education, Palliative care, Diabetes Educator, Counseling, Immunization, Centre & Home nursing.
Visiting Services: Maternal & Child Health, General Practitioner, Physiotherapist, Chiropractor
Open Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm, Weekend 9am - 11am.

Has many services including computers with high speed internet access, laminator, photocopier and air conditioned comfort.
